1. How do I add my pet's name?

Write the name in the order note at checkout. Keep it to 9 letters at most, ideally shorter, so the lettering comes out larger on the mat. Each mat is made to order, so the name cannot be changed afterwards.

2. Which size should I choose?

The small mat is 40 x 30 cm and suits a single bowl or a small feeding stand. The large one is 50 x 35 cm and takes a double stand with food and water. Measure where the bowls sit today and go slightly bigger so there are a few centimetres of mat all around the rim.

3. How does the mat handle spilled water?

It is made from diatomite, the same porous material as quick-drying bathroom mats. It draws moisture into the surface, where it evaporates on its own, so you avoid the wet patch and the musty smell a damp fabric mat picks up.

4. Will the mat slide on my floor?

The backing is non-slip rubber that grips wood, laminate, tiles and stone. The bowl may travel a few centimetres during a meal, but the mat stays where you laid it. The surface also stands up to claws without scratching.

5. How do I clean and settle the mat in?

Sweep off crumbs or wipe the mat with a damp cloth and leave it to air dry. Do not machine wash it. Place it on a dry floor the first time and let it lie flat for a few hours before you set the bowls on it.
